Guns & Rain is an emerging gallery for contemporary art by African artists. With a focus on socio-political issues and the examination of African histories – both collective and personal – we are proud to have supported over 70 emerging artists through more than 50 exhibitions and 35 art fairs, spanning 17 cities in 13 countries, over the past decade. Our current exhibitions include Ann Gollifer’s exhibition Hold Me Said the Earth at the Origins Centre Museum. We also return to the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, 21-23 February 2025. Meanwhile, Tuli Mekondjo is participating in the Dakar Biennale and, in Oxford UK, our group exhibition ENTANGLED: Southern African Artists reflect on Colonialism, Monuments & Memory, runs until May 2025.
